Using PHP and MySql database to build a collector’s app that displays pantry items. It connects to the database and can add and/or retrieves data from it. Used procedural functions and unit tested.

We built a maze game using JavaScript and jQuery. The game is played with mouseover and/or click events. I contributed to its design system, game logic and displaying pop up functions as well as animation.

We, as a team of 7 people, built an app that gets data from an external API, then filters and displays it in our customized interface. Using PHP7 and MySQL, I work on an API scrap to retrieve data from the API (https://docs.thecatapi.com/) and store it in the database.

Using PHP7, MySQL and JavaScript, continued a build for an online quiz application for users to register and take the academy aptitude test. Unlike other projects where we started from scratch, our team had to understand the previous code base former cohorts built to add and/or improve features.

A team project using Slim (a PHP framework) and composer to fix bugs and add new features for the Mayden Academy portal. Following MVC design pattern, I contributed to backend validation in Event Entity and Contact Entity for sending data to the database, creating an abstract class to make the code base more DRY, and unit testing.

Using React, Express, Node and MongoDB, build a dog comparison app as a team that fetches data from the database, randommize it to display. It provides user interaction for voting. I contributed mostly on building components in React side of the project.
